Communication in the school
INTERNAL COMMUNICATION
The internal communication at the school, can be formal or informal.
There are many pepole who participate in the internal communication, and take part the following people: - Students - Teachers - Principal - Secretaries Between the students, is more informal than from students to teachers, also it's more informal the communication between the teachers. The students are able communicate between them in different moments as the breaktimes. (It's always informal) When the students want to talk with the principal, the student has to talk with the students’ representative, and then the representative talks with the tutor. The tutor has to exposed to the head of department and then the head of department has to talk with the head of studies and then from the head of studies to the principal. (Must be formal)
When the principal wants to talk with a students or with some students, as in the principal-teacher communication it is simple, she/he only has to call the student or the students to the director office. (Must be formal) Normally the secretaries want to talk with the students because of the paperwork, maybe it isn’t complete or they need more information, or they had problems with whatever, they normally communicate with the students by phone or by e-mail. (Could be formal or informal) Normally the students talk with the secretaries to receive information, about the school, the courses, and so on. Normally the students only have to go to the Secretary and then only have to talk with them. (Could be informal or formal) Normally, when the students wants communicate with teachers orally but they can also communicate by written. (Must be formal in this case) When the teacher wants to talk with a student the teacher will choose when to meet the student. (Could be informal or formal) |
EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION
The external communication in the school is simple. The school has a webpage, where they leave all the news and all the information about the school.
The school, also is in some projects as the simulated company, call Zubirilet, for the students of Business and Finace for improving their knowledge. it works nationally but the simulated company in our school also works at European level, so because of that we have to go to the simulated companies fairs to make new business contacts. Apart from that, the school is in another projects, fostered by the multilingual teachers, as the European project, called A Step Further, that brings together some countries, that are: - Spain - Turkey - Croatia - Slovenia - Poland |
The formal and informal communication mixed over the time and it depends on the situation, the person you are talking to and the message you want to communicate.
